The story of Dhu al-Qarnayn Part 2

The story of Dhu al-Qarnayn Part 2

Dhu al-Qarnayn is a good king, God Almighty grant him the king and wisdom, so he roamed the west and east of the earth against people who did nothing but spread corruption on the earth, and in spite of all the king and the authority that God came and placed on the earth, he was not proud, but rather he was a just ruler who carried out the law of God in his servants All his work,

He is a king who believed in his Lord and in the Last Day, so God came to him from a point where it does not count, and his full story was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an in Surat Al-Kahf.

Gog and Magog and the construction of the dam:

And if he is Dhu al-Qarnayn with his army in the middle of the Chinese plains, he finds a passage between two great mountains, and they found behind the two mountains a peaceful, believing nation who did not speak anything other than their language, and the opening between the two mountains did not bring them anything but affliction and misery from two tribes, one of them called “Gog” and the other “Magog,” so these two tribes were devouring Animals, people and everything that grows on earth,

And they had no religion or civilization, and that faithful tribe welcomed Dhul Qarnayn and his army, and when they declared their faith in God and the religion of Dhul Qarnayn they asked for his help and help for those two tribes, and they told him about the two tribes and about their speed of reproduction and their enormous numbers,

They offered Dhul-Qarnayn to pay him in exchange for helping him get rid of the two tribes, but Dhu al-Qarnayn refused and asked them to help him with their strength only, as he did not want money or power, but rather to achieve peace and justice in various parts of the world, so he asked the army engineers to build a dam in that hole between The two mountains were to obscure the two tribes from the world. Indeed, iron and in the middle of it poured coal into the hole between the two mountains and ignited coal, and then poured molten copper to become the strongest dam in history.

The story of Dhu al-Qarnayn Part 2

The dam was very high and they could not climb it. Indeed, the tribes of Gog and Magog were hidden from all the world. God Almighty said:

[Until, when he reached [a pass] between two mountains, he found beside them a people who could hardly understand [his] speech. (93)

They said, “O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?” (94)

He said, “That in which my Lord has established me is better [than what you offer], but assist me with strength; I will make between you and them a dam. (95)

Bring me sheets of iron” – until, when he had leveled [them] between the two mountain walls, he said, “Blow [with bellows],” until when he had made it [like] fire, he said, “Bring me, that I may pour over it molten copper.” ‘(96)

So Gog and Magog were unable to pass over it, nor were they able [to effect] in it any penetration. (97)

[Dhul-Qarnayn] said, “This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it level, and ever is the promise of my Lord true.” (98)

And We will leave them that day surging over each other, and [then] the Horn will be blown, and We will assemble them in [one] assembly. (99)

And We will present Hell that Day to the Disbelievers, on display – (100)

And when he finished from the dam, Dhu al-Qarnayn looked at the dam, praised the praise of God and thanked him for the knowledge, wisdom, grace and high illusion he had given, and with this, the deed immortalized the mention of Dhul-Qarnayn in the Book of God Almighty until the day they are resurrected.

As we all know that Gog and Magog are among the major signs and signs of the Hour of Resurrection, for they are the evilest of God’s creation on earth, for they wreak corruption on the earth and leave no damp or dry material without overthrowing it.

Dhul-Qarnayn’s will to his mother when he felt his time was coming:

He roamed the whole earth from the east to the west, and when he set foot in Babylon, he felt that his life was approaching, and he did not remember anything except his mother’s grief over him. He was as mentioned by the only one of his mother, so he sent a ram with a message to her, and he wrote in the message: “But this world is nothing but Written deadlines and each of us has a known deadline, and if it reaches you my time, you must slaughter this ram and make food from it, then invite everyone around you for food except for those who have lost dear ones.

Indeed, the news of his death came to her, so she proceeded to implement his will verbatim, but no one came to her, so she knew at the time that everyone had lost a dear to his heart like her, so she became certain at that time what her son wanted to convey to her in his departure from her.
